Senior Snow Shoveling Program

The Snow Shoveling program is a collaborative program with River Dell Regional and the Boroughs of River Edge & Oradell to connect our Senior Residents with our River Dell Students.

 Þ The Program is intended to connect River Dell students with seniors in the community who are in need of snow removal. 

Þ Students may earn a minimum of $25 (to be worked out between residents)

Þ Seniors will receive a list of all registered students to make initial contact

Þ Students will be expected to communicate with senior directly to coordinate the time and details

Þ Students should provide their own shovels; salt must be provided by the senior

Þ The student is not responsible for clearing off any vehicle due to potential property damage.

Þ Transportation is the responsibility of the student.

Þ Students will not be allowed to enter any home

Þ All participants must practice CDC safety guidelines: use masks, remain  socially distant, and wash/sanitize hands.

Þ The Borough of River Edge accepts no responsibility for health insurance,  liability insurance or accident insurance.
